Let me remind those that played it, but forgot what's it like to be Pharaoh, ruling the hot sands by the Nile and all, of the plot - It is taking place through three actual periods of the Egyptian history: Old, Middle and New Kingdom. Also, in that same mission, the developers could not pronounce Dunqul Oasis properly and mistakenly said that sandstone should be imported from On (the text on the mission briefing says the correct city however). This may be a mistake where Djedu was supposed to come either earlier or later in the Old Kingdom.
Still, no patch at least till version 2.1 (including) fixes the issue. This may be a bug - an omission by the creators of the game to upgrade your in-game rank in this mission. ↑ The absence of the rank of Nomarch in Bahariya: While you never hold the rank of Nomarch in-game, in Bahariya Oasis the mission briefing titles you as such.It is not impossible to complete the mission with a continually falling KR however.
